Shoes, Balenciaga fall 2010

[UPDATE: “the coveted” is now “the coveteur,” which means I can like them unreservedly. And I do! New link for this image is: http://www.thecoveteur.com/jane_keltner_de_valle.]

This little tumblog has been a home styling lookbook for me. So introducing fashion is something I actually thought long and hard about.
I love absolutely everything about this image and experienced the same response to it as I would a to well-designed and well-styled space. So it makes the cut. Because wow.
Plus, supercute shoes.

Oh, I love industrial leavings as art. You really don’t want to know how very close I came to buying a baby-doll’s-head mold the first time I was in Los Angeles. This, though, might be even better. Boyfriend the cook would love to display something like this in our home.

Tory Burch’s closet, via The Decorista
It’s a little fussy for me, with the profusion of drapery panels (seriously, WHY do the closet doors and pendant lamps have draperies?), but the orange chevron island in the middle is to die for. So’s the upholstered bench.

Love extended quatrefoil shape; would love it better with chevrons in lieu of zebra.
